Our organic enriched compost can be used in many ways. All types of crops and ornamental plants can be planted in it, whether in garden beds or as the compost layer in raised beds. This pre-fertilised organic compost is especially beneficial for plants with high nutrient requirements, such as sunflowers, pumpkins, courgettes, fruit trees and other heavy feeders.

Yes, our enriched compost is 100% peat-free. It is made from natural raw materials and therefore produces up to 30% less CO₂ during production than conventional composts that contain peat. All of our Plantura composts are also animal-free, pet-friendly, and approved for use in organic production.

Yes, our enriched compost is ideal for filling raised beds. It is used as the compost layer, where it provides your plants with a rich supply of nutrients and also feeds numerous soil organisms. The compost layer sits between the top and base layers and is approximately 20 to 40cm thick. The base layer beneath the compost layer acts as a drainage layer, so fill it with sticks and branches. For the raised bed’s top layer, we recommend using our Plantura Organic Tomato & Vegetable Compost.
